Memory Beads
The Idea
Ernie made his first Memory Bead with the ashes from a beloved pet. Next, he made commemorative beads from the ashes of a treasured family member. Soon, requests came in from friends and family and then the circle of interest and appreciation grew. He has memorialized ashes from cats, dogs and human family members, and in addition, the occasional hair from a loved one when cremation was not an option. Ernie offers several patterns as well as a variety of sizes and shapes to choose from.
100% Handmade
All beads are made by Ernie. Each one is carefully crafted with the utmost care. Once a base bead is created, ashes are rolled onto the bead then covered with more glass.
